Betty Crocker’s Gingerbread Cookie Mix may be one of my favorite discoveries of 2010. I made one little adjustment to the recipe that I wanted to share with you. People have begged me for this recipe and are shocked when they find out it is a store bought mix. If you want to make “homemade” cookies without the hassle and mess you have to try them! You can find it in some grocery stores and most Targets. I suggest buying a few to have around the house just in case they stop selling them after the holidays.
My Little Gingerbread Secret~
Prepare the cookies as directed. Roll the dough into 1/4 balls. Pour some sugar in a small bowl and coat each cookie ball with sugar. Place the cookies on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet. Using the back side of a fork, press each cookie flat creating an “X” pattern. Bake as directed. It’s that easy!December 14, 2010
