Getting back into shape after indulging all winter can be rough, but it is not impossible. I believe the best way to get fit is to find a fun way to move your body. Here are three fun alternative ways to get back in shape this month!

Kick Start Your Day At Bootcamp!
The term “bootcamp” can be intimidating but bootcamps can be a lot of fun. Look in your local newspaper for bootcamps in your area and sign up. Bootcamps are usually scheduled early in the morning so get excited about having an early jump start to your day. I have been going to Greg LeFever’s Wellness Bootcamp for a couple of years and love it! Greg does a great job of creating fun exercises that work the whole body. I will admit that I do not enjoy the early wake up call, but the results are worth it!
Dance Your Butt Off!
Dancing is another great way to get in shape. I am a huge fan of Zumba! With the modern music and energetic dance moves you won’t even realize you are working out, but trust me you are. Don’t worry if you are not a good dancer, most of the people who attend the classes aren’t. Just have fun and enjoy moving to the music.
Dive Right In!
If you live in a warm area or have access to an indoor pool, swimming is a great full body workout. Seeing yourself in a swimsuit everyday will be a reminder of your new year’s resolution, but also a way to see your progress! A nice morning swim will leave you feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Swimming is also low impact on your body which is a nice alternative if you have any injuries.
No matter how you exercise, take the time to appreciate your dedication to your own personal fitness and health.
